Within the Training & Curriculum Specialist Safe Environments course you will learn about:
- How to help adults ensure toys and materials for children are safe
- How to support staff in making sure staff-to-child ratios and appropriate supervision practices are followed at all times
- How to help staff ensure safe sleep practices are in place for infants and young children
- How to support staff plan, organize, and practice emergency procedures
- Identify ways to help adults respond to injuries
- How to ensure that staff know and follow child abuse prevention, identification, and reporting procedures
