As a binding condition of use of this site, you represent and warrant to The Ohio State University and its DoD Child Development ³Ô¹ÏÍø (collectively, "³Ô¹ÏÍø") that you have read and accept these Terms of Use. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Site and the information thereon. You agree not to use the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Site and information therein (1) for any unlawful purpose; (2) for any purpose or in any manner that is prohibited by the Terms of Use; and (3) in any manner that could damage, disable, interrupt, overburden, or impair this ³Ô¹ÏÍø Site or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of this ³Ô¹ÏÍø Site.

2. Features and Links to Other Sites:

The ³Ô¹ÏÍø Course may provide links to other web sites or other resources for the benefit of the User. ³Ô¹ÏÍø is not implying any endorsement, association, sponsorship, or affiliation with any linked or referenced third party site or any merchandise, products, or services offered through such linked sites. The User acknowledges and agrees that ³Ô¹ÏÍø will not be responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources and is not responsible or liable for any content, security, services, products, or other materials on or available from those sites or resources.

Links to web sites operated by others may be provided to you. If you use these links, you will leave the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Site. If you decide to visit any linked site, you do so at your own risk. The Terms of Use will be governed, interpreted, and construed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. In the event of a dispute regarding this Site, regarding goods sold or services provided on this Site, or regarding any of the information or recommendations on this Site, the dispute shall be heard exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Ohio. If you use this Site from other locations or countries, you are responsible for any and all applicable local laws and regulations.

Privacy Policy

The following policy applies to VirtualLabSchool.org. ³Ô¹ÏÍø is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its online visitors. This policy statement provides our visitors with an overview of the measures we have taken to provide a safe online environment.

1. Personally identifiable information:

In the event you establish an account for ³Ô¹ÏÍø and receive a password, ³Ô¹ÏÍø will only collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide through our web site or e-mail correspondence. Any information supplied to ³Ô¹ÏÍø will be used for, but not limited to, supporting content delivery, creation, scoring, assessment, reporting and analysis. ³Ô¹ÏÍø may use such personally identifiable information to provide user access, to supply services, and to report scoring and course progress to organizations using ³Ô¹ÏÍø for professional development of staff. You are responsible for any content, including images and comments, that you upload to the site. Inappropriate, Illegal or Improper content will be removed without notice by ³Ô¹ÏÍø staff.

³Ô¹ÏÍø will take appropriate, commercially standard steps to keep all personally identifiable information confidential. We use the information we collect through our web site to provide the services you request. We do not sell, rent, or lease our subscriber or client lists to third parties.

2. Unauthorized Use

You should immediately notify ³Ô¹ÏÍø of any unauthorized use of your user name, password or account or any other breach of security, and ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. ³Ô¹ÏÍø cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your (or any authorized users') failure to comply with the provisions of this Section.
