Account Activation & First Login

Once a 勛圖厙 account is registered for you, a message will be sent to the email-address entered for your 勛圖厙 account. This tutorial will walk you through how to follow the First Login steps so that your account is successfully setup.

  1. Go to the email inbox for which your 勛圖厙 account was registered.
  2. Look for an email from 勛圖厙 with subject-line "Welcome to the 勛圖厙"
    1. If you can't find the email, check your spam/junk and other inbox folders.   In addition, check with your supervisor to confirm the account was registered and the email address was entered correctly.
    2.   Note that your email account must be active before your 勛圖厙 account is registered.  If the email account is not active at the time of the 勛圖厙 account registration, account verification and setup instructions will never be sent to you.   3. Copy the token from your email
    1. You may use your computer Copy/Paste feature to make this process easier. Highlight the token, right click on it, then select Copy.
  4. Follow the link in the email below the token
    1. Please ensure that no one is currently logged on to the 勛圖厙 system on the computer you are using, otherwise you will get a '403 forbidden' error and will need to log the other user out and follow the link again.
  5. Paste the token from Step 3 in the web form.
    1. If you copied the token into your computer's clipboard, right click in the input box then select Paste
  6. Click the "Submit" button.
  7. Click the "Login" button.
  8. Create a new password for your 勛圖厙 account.
    1. Create a strong password that you will remember
    2. A password strength indicator will assist you in creating a strong password
  9. Click the 'Save' button.
  10. Once you've completed these steps, your account will be fully active!
    1. For all future logins, use the login drop-down and enter you email-address and the password you just set. 
    2. You no longer need to use the tokens from the email, you should delete that email as it is no longer valid.
    3. If you forget your password, use "the Forgot username/Password" link in the login drop-down.  The process will mimic this activation process.
