- How to promote safety through ratios and proper supervision practices
- How to promote safe internet practices for school-age children
- How to ensure safe routes to school for the children in your program
- The importance of child abuse knowledge, identification, prevention and reporting
- How to prepare for emergencies and respond to injuries in your program
- Special considerations for trips away from your program and the importance of vehicle safety
