Spend at least 30 minutes observing a classroom from each age group your program serves. Use this form to note how physical needs are being met. Look for equipment, materials, learning experiences and activity areas that support motor development. You can refer to the Age-Specific Considerations section in this lesson for a reminder on what types of activities promote motor-skill development.
