Take some time to look over previous inspection reports. Were there non-compliances related to maintaining a clean, healthy environment? If so, what were they? Look at each one and determine the root cause of the non-compliance(s). Were they the result of one or more of the following?

• A new staff member not fully understanding their responsibilities
• Staff members forgetting to complete their responsibilities
• Staff members not having the supplies they needed to fulfill their responsibilities
• Staff choosing not to perform their responsibilities
• Other?

Whatever the cause of the non-compliance, it is essential that you take action to ensure that all staff comply with requirements and have the tools to do so. Use the space below to examine the issues, consider their cause, and how you will remedy each non-compliance.
