Use this as a guide, table of contents, or print it out and use as a checklist to manually keep track of progress through the course. Within the Infants & Toddlers Healthy Environments course you will learn about:
- Proper handwashing techniques and how to support handwashing of the children in your care
- How to maintain sanitary restrooms, diapering and toileting procedures, and how to respond appropriately to toileting accidents
- How to conduct daily healthy checks and respond when children are ill
- The importance of modeling and supporting healthy eating and physical activity
- How to help children and families deal with stress, and in particular, how you can support them with stressful events such as deployment
- The proper way to administer medication and how to care for children with special needs
